You must also assess the growth history of your franchisor, and the growth potential of your location. It is good news if the franchisor is expanding, because that means there is demand for the product or service. But there are also drawbacks: if the franchisor is growing too fast, it may not provide you the promised support, or it may not keep the territorial boundaries intact.
